The South Region South comprehensively operates the Dwory-Monowice railway siding, owned by Rail Polska and located in Włosienica, near Oświęcim, as well as the adjacent siding owned by the Region's largest customer. The core business of the South Region covers the performance of railway transport services.

The Region's activities mainly include:

• performing railway traffic at the Dwory-Monowice siding,
• performing shunting operations,
• providing access to service infrastructure facilities located at the Dwory-Monowice siding (marshalling yard, container terminal, freight terminal, parking tracks, rolling stock washing and cleaning station, and technical facilities within the Rolling Stock Division),
• carrying out forwarding activities related to the acceptance and delivery of rail shipments,
• rental of tank wagons and wagons, turnout tamping machine, railway crane,
• maintenance of railway infrastructure,
• operating a container terminal in Włosienica.

Within the framework of railway infrastructure maintenance, the Southern Region provides the following services to meet its own needs and those of external companies: diagnostics, maintenance, and ongoing maintenance, major repairs of the railway superstructure, as well as maintenance of rail traffic control equipment.

• comprehensive operation of railroad sidings (including acceptance and shipment of shipments, preparation of transport documentation, settlement of transport costs with carriers and forwarders)
• performing shunting work in the area of sidings
• performing loading and unloading work
• formation of train sets
